🟦 What Are Quantifiers?
Quantifiers are words we use to talk about how much or how many of something we have. They are used before nouns.
Today we learn four important ones:
🔹 Some
🔹 Any
🔹 Much
🔹 Many
✅ “Some” and “Any”
Some (in positive sentences)
We use some in positive sentences with both countable (plural) and uncountable nouns.
I have some books. (countable)
There is some water. (uncountable)
Any (in negative sentences & questions)
We use any in negative sentences and questions.
I don’t have any milk. ❌
Do you have any friends? ❓
✅ “Much” and “Many”
Much (with uncountable nouns)
We use much with uncountable nouns, mostly in questions and negatives.
I don’t have much time. ❌
How much sugar do you want? ❓
Many (with countable nouns)
We use many with plural countable nouns.
I don’t have many friends. ❌
How many eggs do we need? ❓

🚫 Common Mistakes
❌ I have much apples. → ✅ I have many apples.
❌ I don’t have many money. → ✅ I don’t have much money.
