Word | Used With | Examples |
---|---|---|
Much | Uncountable nouns (things you can’t count) | “How much water do you need?” |
Many | Countable nouns (things you can count) | “There are many students in the class.” |
Some | Positive sentences (uncountable or plural countable nouns) | “I have some apples.” / “There is some sugar.” |
Any | Negative sentences & questions | “Do you have any bananas?” / “I donβt have any milk.” |
