The Past Simple Tense is used for:
✔ Finished actions in the past – “I watched a movie yesterday.”
✔ A series of actions in the past – “He woke up, brushed his teeth, and left.”
✔ Past habits – “She always walked to school.”
📌 Example Sentences:
❌ Incorrect: “He go to school yesterday.”
✅ Correct: “He went to school yesterday.”
Let’s learn the rules!
👉 For Regular Verbs: Verb + -ed
✔ I played football.
✔ She walked to school.
✔ We visited our grandmother.
👉 For Irregular Verbs, the verb changes completely.
✔ I ate pizza.
✔ He went to the park.
✔ They bought a new car.

To make a negative sentence, use:
👉 did not (didn’t) + base verb
📌 Examples:
❌ I did not (didn’t) eat pizza.
❌ She did not (didn’t) go to school.
