The Past Simple Tense is used for:
โ Finished actions in the past โ โI watched a movie yesterday.โ
โ A series of actions in the past โ โHe woke up, brushed his teeth, and left.โ
โ Past habits โ โShe always walked to school.โ
๐ Example Sentences:
โ Incorrect: “He go to school yesterday.”

Correct: “He went to school yesterday.”

๐ For Regular Verbs: Verb + -ed
โ I played football.
โ She walked to school.
โ We visited our grandmother.
๐ For Irregular Verbs, the verb changes completely.
โ I ate pizza.

To make a negative sentence, use:
๐ did not (didnโt) + base verb
๐ Examples:
โ I did not (didnโt) eat pizza.
โ She did not (didnโt) go to school.
