🔍 What is the Simple Present Tense?

The Simple Present Tense is used to talk about:
Daily habits – “I wake up at 7 AM.”
Facts and general truths – “The sun rises in the east.”
Fixed schedules – “The train leaves at 6 PM.”
Feelings and opinions – “I love chocolate.”

📝 How to Form the Simple Present Tense

1️⃣ For I, You, We, They (Base Form of the Verb)

👉 Subject + Verb (base form) + Object

Examples:
✔ I eat breakfast at 8 AM.
✔ They play football on Sundays.

2️⃣ For He, She, It (Add -s or -es to the Verb)

👉 Subject + Verb (+s / es) + Object

Examples:
✔ He eats breakfast at 8 AM.

💡 Important: If a verb ends in -ch, -sh, -o, -x, -ss, add -es instead of just -s.

👉 do not (don’t) / does not (doesn’t) + base verb
