The Scary Vampire in the Forest
Every night, a scary vampire walked through the dark forest. He had sharp teeth, red eyes, and a long, black cloak. The vampire didn’t look friendly at all. But each night, he would visit a young farmer named Johannes who lived on a small farm in the forest.
The vampire would bring Johannes water and food. Johannes was thankful and didn’t know why the vampire helped him, but he always ate the food happily.
One night, the vampire did something strange. He put a special sleeping medicine in Johannes’s food. This medicine was made from the water of different plants. When Johannes ate the food, he became very sleepy. Soon, he fell asleep and didn’t wake up.
The vampire put Johannes in a big sack and carried him on his shoulder. Then, he brought Johannes to a large, black pot in the middle of the forest. Carefully, he put Johannes inside the pot.
The vampire needed wood to make a fire under the pot, so he left Johannes alone to find some.
While the vampire was away, Johannes woke up. He looked around and was very scared. “Where am I?” he whispered. Then, he saw the big pot. Johannes quickly climbed out of the pot and looked for a way to escape.
He had an idea. Johannes gathered some heavy stones and put them in the pot. Then, he ran far away, hiding behind a big tree.
After a while, the vampire came back with a pile of wood. He didn’t know Johannes had escaped! The vampire started a fire and began cooking the stones in the pot, thinking he was cooking Johannes.
The vampire cooked for a long time. When he finally opened the lid, he looked inside and saw only rocks and dirt. He screamed in anger!
Meanwhile, Johannes was already safe and far away, smiling to himself.
Moral of the Story: Even when things seem scary, quick thinking and clever ideas can help you find a way out!
