The Rain Prince: A Funny Tale of Magic, Love, and Talking Veggies!
Once upon a time, in a village divided between the rich and the poor, there was a young farmer named Johannes. Johannes was a super-excited guy who loved his farm and his plants. But Johannes didn’t know he had magical powers! You see, every time he counted down from three to one, it would start raining! And guess what? He could also talk to his vegetables, and they loved him because he always gave them water.
One day, the village heard some big news! The king’s daughter, Princess Sharon, was looking for a husband. But this wasn’t easy—any man who wanted to marry her had to prove he could help the kingdom. The kingdom needed rain and food because everyone was hungry.
At the ceremony, all the rich guys came in fancy clothes—shiny suits and neat ties. But Johannes? He arrived in clothes made from leaves! The rich men laughed at him, and he wasn’t chosen. But Johannes didn’t give up.
Back at his farm, he got curious. “Could I really be special?” he wondered. He counted down, "Three... two... one..." and BAM! It started raining, pouring down all over his crops! The plants were happy, and so were the people—they had food! Johannes now knew he was special, the Prince of Rain!
Excited, Johannes went to his garden. The vegetables cheered him on. Mr. Banana Tree gave him a fresh green leaf to wear, and Mr. Pumpkin offered his orange skin for decoration. And his good buddy, Mr. Horse, said, “Hop on, I’ll give you a royal ride!”
At the next marriage ceremony, Johannes made a grand entrance. Everyone stared as he walked in wearing his leafy suit, riding his horse with veggies cheering him on! He knelt before the king and Princess Sharon. “Your Majesty,” he said, “I am Johannes, the Prince of Rain! I can bring water to help our people and food to fill our plates!”
Then, Johannes counted down again, “Three... two... one…” and it started raining right in the palace! People gasped, clapped, and even laughed with joy! The king was amazed, and Princess Sharon smiled brightly. Johannes was crowned the Prince of Rain, and he and Princess Sharon lived happily, bringing rain and food to the whole kingdom.
